Perry Rice


Perry Rice Jr. is the youngest of five children and comes from a long line of great cooks. His father Perry Rice Sr. and his mother Pinkie Rice set the bar on cooking for him. He began his career in the food industry at Pappasito's Cantina in Houston, Tx. There he became fascinated with the concept of grilling.

How We Began

After graduating high school, he tried different careers, but he looked for something that he enjoyed, so he turned to grilling. Once  he got older, he took over where his mom left off with feeding the homeless. From this he learned to cook for large groups of people, but did not compromise on the quality.

The more Perry mastered his grilling skills, the more he was hired to cater different events around town. During this time he also began mastering his skills on the business side of the food industry. While working  hours a week, he still found time to cater events on the weekends, never giving up what he love.

When ask what keeps him going, he said "with everything going on people need to be happy and good food makes them happy." He often says "I didn't start a business because I love to cook, I started a business because I saw the need."

Good food for good people at a good price.
